If you’re ready to bring your best financial game to a hyper-talented, driven, and fast-moving team in a distributed start-up environment, this is the place for you.
This role is located in Oslo, Norway and will report into the Co-founder & CEO.

Work with teams to produce P&L and cash flow forecasts that are as accurate as possible.
Set-up and process internal payments to partners, suppliers, and staff.
Create a streamlined receivable function that takes our API activity data, raises invoices, and sends them to our clients. You’ll also be responsible for tracking their payment and following up with any reconciliation concerns. You should be tech-savvy enough to be able to work with our engineering teams to automate as much as possible.

Track financial performance versus budget/forecast and optimise accordingly.
Lead financial audits. This may include working closely with the auditors themselves.
Prepare official statements, reports, accounts, and submissions to governmental bodies and regulators. This may include the submission process itself and any follow-ups/liaising necessary.

Stay current with financial regulations and European Commission policy changes to ensure that we are compliant and operating using best industry practices.
Perform due diligence and risk assessments on new clients and ensure we are compliant with AML regulations.
Review and monitor spend to ensure that we’re deploying funds effectively. We are always going to be a start-up at heart and we need to ensure that every pound is spent well. We’re not averse to spending money but let’s make it count.
Manage corporate insurance and treasury matters.
Assist with corporate & corporate governance matters, as needed.
File taxes and ensure all obligations are paid on time.
