Day to day responsibilities:
Direct support to DigiFarm using GIS data and tools;
Building and assisting both the Engineering and the Product team related to our required remote sensing and geospatially derived imagery data, mainly Sentinel-2;
Mapping using GIS software (QGIS/ArcGIS ++);
Getting information from a GIS Map;
Writing Python code;
Create and maintain data layers as requested.
You should have worked with, intimately understand, or exhibit deep, demonstrable knowledge of:
Postgresql;
Linux shell scripting;
AWS S3;
AWS Lambda;
Google Colab;
PyTorch;
Docker;
Kubernetes;
GDAL, Postgis, Google Earth Engine;
Mapbox.
Other skills include:
Advanced skills using QGIS, ArcGIS;
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities in the field of work;
Related work experience or equivalent combination of education and related work experience (ArcGIS, MapInfo, and AutoCAD).

Education & Qualifications:
A solid foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts and principles;
A degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
