The Challenge
Changing data: Boundaries and seeded acres change every year, making existing map data less reliable, 12-15% inaccuracy found in CLUs (Common Land Units) by USDA which consists of 32 million parcels and over 13 years old. Similar inaccuracies found in LPIS data in 36 million parcels across 27 EU-regions.
All precision-ag and in-field analytics starts with accurate field boundaries and seeded acres. Unfortunately, we’re making critical decisions based on inaccurate data.
The Solution
Our solution will contribute to the stakeholders (primarily B2G National Paying Agencies and Govs) in the Agricultural data space across the 27-EU regions to begin with through optimising and automating their subsidy declaration process, through our initial research and testing we have identified in collaboration with the Lithuanian National Paying Agency (NMA) that our solution can help benefit farmers through reducing the following by 10 - 25%.
