The Challenge
"My KWS solution has 2 million hectares which includes 80,000 users across 30 countries with the aim of combining the genetic know-how of KWS and digital analysis by providing recommendations for VRA of Fertiliser and Planting on variety level. It is very crucial to have accurate field boundaries as it’s always a pain point with farmers. It is very difficult and time consuming to draw manually. Multiple providers have tried automatic boundary detection but the results were not accurate enough".
The Solution
High accuracy delineated field boundaries based on super-resolution Sentinel 2 Imagery (1m/pixel resolution) AI and machine learning. Delivered through API with the option to show low resolution boundaries to indicate visually where boundaries are located cutting out most of the manual work needed to start working on the fields.
